On a beautiful midsummer's afternoon the Wianno Seniors of Nantucket sound came out to compete in the final race of their 2003 Scudder Cup series.

All was joyous and full of cameraderie as the fleet descended upon the marks outside Wianno YC.

None knew what the following winter was to bring - the near demolition of the regularly racing fleet in a terrible fire at Crosby's Yacht Yard.
